1. The media is after trump again after misquoting him and making him look bad due to a use of the word lynching which the media said he compared the impeachment inquiry by the democrats. Later the president came out and said on twitter that the media is playing with his words once again. Trump has also recently how he feels the way the democrats are treating him during this impeachment investigation. Trump is seen using this word in a bad way cause of the history, though it may have been more appropriate to say he is is being untreated fairly without trial but technically lynch would match that definiton

Long Response

1. Lots of new housing is being built in Austin. Lots of the new housing isn't affordable for lots of people. There a new code which could which could increase the numbers of houses by 3 and not many people would be able to afford those properties.
2. More affordable housing could help Austin, by letting people move to a place better for them that they usually couldn't afford which could open up some traffic.
3 Developers who pay people to build these houses may not make as much profit since not as many people make the amount of money to purchase there property.
4. I think for some classes it may be, but since of how fast the population is growing the rise in how much houses go for isn't much of a issue unless you live in the lower class.

Ethics in Media

1.Publishing Drunk Drivers Photos
Summary:
After drunk driving accidents happen people at fault are usually arrested. Once they are arrested they take a mugshot which is shared usually with the local new The controversy here is if these phots should be shown to the media and in newspapers. These photos can be seen as unnecessary and embracing considering the person is under the influence.
Opinion:  I feel like the way it is now should stay the same , I don't really see this as a serious thing or something that will ruin someones life.

2. A Suspect Confession
Summary:
When a murder investigation is going on lots of names will float around as possible suspects. When a murder case is out it is a very interesting topic to write and for people to learn about. If someone is being wrote as the killer and there not it looks bad on there person and bad on there person who wrote the article.
Opinion:I think this is very unfair to write an article of someone who isn't proven guilty which is sort of breaking one of are amendments and especially to someone who may have not even killed someone and now everyone may see that person in a bad way.

3.Holocaust Metaphor
Summary:
Lots of years ago 6 million people died in the holocaust. Nowadays people use the holocaust as a metaphor and it seems that lots of people think it's an extreme use of a metaphor.  Peta used this metaphor saying "Holocaust on Your Plate". This is comparing all animals getting killed for food to humans getting burned to death for no reason whatsoever.
Opinion:
I think this is extremely insulting to the jewish population in are world. Millions of people were killed and people compare things such as food which sustains human life. This shouldn't be allowed to be used in any form of public media or news.

Earthquake Story

Today June 24th, 2019 at 8:12 a.m. PDT an earthquake struck the San Francisco Bay area. 2 people passed and 6 are currently injured.

Hayward resident Mike Beamer explains what he experienced while the earthquake was happening.

“I felt a rolling motion for about 30 seconds,” Beamer said. ”I was eating my breakfast when the room started rolling. I dove under the table just as I heard an explosion outside and a chunk of cement flew through my kitchen window”.

Jennifer Vu a a public information officer releases a statement of what first responders did.

"Twenty-one fire personnel, 12 police and five American Red Cross workers responded to the building collapse,'' Vu said.” With some arriving within four minutes of the earthquake”.

Penny Gertz a scientist from Menlo Park explains the strength of this earthquake.

“The earthquake had a magnitude of 6.4 on the Richter scale, which is a very strong one,” Gertz said. ”People as far south as Los Angeles and as far north as Redding felt the quake”.

Local weather reporter Yuling Johnson has adapted to earthquakes

  “ After moving to California after a little while it’s just or normal thing for an earthquake to occur,” Johnson said. ” I’m just worried one of these days one will knock California into the Pacific Ocean”.         

San Francisco 49ers Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo was in his house and explains what the earthquake like. 

“I was just standing up eating some cinnamon toast crunch watching espn this morning,” Garoppolo said.” Then out of nowhere I felt the ground shake and it hit my house almost as hard as Khalil Mack hits me”.
